| Basic Scriptural Doctrine Embraced by the Omega Coalition Ministries We Believe:
A) There is but one true God, revealed to us in the Scriptures as the ALPHA AND OMEGA; THE GREAT I AM; THE AMEN; JEHOVAH; CREATOR OF ALL THINGS SEEN AND UNSEEN. God exists in three persons, not three gods, but one Godhead. In this Godhead, God is revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thus, we except the Biblical teaching of the Trinity.
B) That the Son is the Word of God, of same substance and nature of God. The Son became flesh (a man) namely Jesus Christ, the God-Man.
C) Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and Savior of the World. He was the only perfect man; was crucified, buried, and rose again from the dead to provide atonement for sin and sins of all mankind. Only by putting faith in Jesus' shed blood and His work in Calvary, can an individual be saved.
D) Jesus is now seated at the Father’s right hand in Glory to intercede for all transgressors until the time that He will return to this Earth to Resurrect the dead in Christ and Rapture the living saints.
E) In the Rapture, the sudden catching away of the living saints, and that the Rapture will precede the Tribulation Period, thus delivering all saints from the wrath of the Lamb, (Jesus).
F) The Righteous (the saved) will inherit the Earth and that eternal life begins with the New-Birth, (being saved).
G) That a person can go back on God (Backslide) and unless that individual repents and turns to the Lord, he/she will be lost forever.
H) The wicked (unsaved, lost) will be cast into the Lake of Fire and there be tormented in flame and darkness forever.
I) That the Bible is the true, inspired,Word of God and we accept the King James Version as the Sword of the Spirit, and will use this version in our teaching, preaching, and all areas of ministry. The Bible is a spiritual book and thus must be spiritually discerned. The carnal, worldly mind cannot receive the things of God, thus, Man's need for other translations and versions. The King James Version is to be read and studied through prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to enlighten His Word.
J) That a person must be Sanctified. Mankind by nature is a double sinner. First, we are born in sin, and we have the sin nature because of Adam and Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden. This sin nature causes ''sins''. We are born sinners because of inherent sin. Second, we are sinners because of the actual sins that we commit. Sanctification destroys the desire to sin and is obtainable by faith.
K) That the Pentecostal Baptism with the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 2 is for the truly saved and sanctified individual. This Spirit Baptism equips and empowers the believer to be more effective in the work of the Kingdom of God. This Spirit Baptism is also obtainable by faith and evidence of His reception is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. The Spirit Baptism is just one of the many different manifestations by the Spirit of God.
L) That Divine Healing is provided in the work of Calvary and is obtainable by faith. Realizing that God can heal is not in itself an enemy of modern medicine, but rather an alternative where one may trust in the Great Physician for healing. | |
