Prophecy Countdown

   TEXT: II PETER 1:19-21

The purpose of this section is to "date" fulfilled prophecies, proving that we are "living the prophecies."

I. Prophecy is the spoken word of God pertaining to unfulfilled events, that when fulfilled, will fit the prophecy perfectly.

II. End-Time prophecy pertaining to these Last Days before the return of Jesus, has now become history.

III. There are no other prophecies that must be fulfilled before the return of Jesus in the Rapture.

IV. God’s prophetic word, outlining End-Time events, starts with Israel’s return from Babylon, and is described for us in a term known as: “70 WEEKS”

1. PROPHECY OF THE 70 WEEKS
DANIEL 9:24 --- 70 weeks = 490 years (70 x 7)
DANIEL 9:25-27 --- These weeks divided into three parts: 49 YEARS; 434 YEARS; 7 YEARS
7 WEEKS; 62 WEEKS; 1 WEEK
DANIEL 9:25 / EZRA 7:11-26 --- The starting point: 458 B.C.
DANIEL 9:25 --- First two divisions (69 weeks; 483 years), end with the baptism of Jesus in A.D. 25, when He was 30 years of Age. (Luke 3: 21-23). This was the age that priests could begin their ministry. (Numbers 4: 1-3)

458 B.C. + A.D. 25 = 483 years, as stated in by Daniel in 9:25:

“SEVEN WEEKS + THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS”
49 YEARS + 434 YEARS = 483 YEARS

NOTE: One week, (7 years), of Daniel’s prophecy (9:27) is yet to be fulfilled. It is known as the “TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE”, (Jeremiah 30:7), but the Bible calls it TRIBULATION, (Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24)

2. PROPHECY OF THE DISPERSION
Known as the “EXILE”, or “DIASPORA”, the complete dispersion of the Jews to foreign lands occurred in 70 A.D., exactly 40 years after the Jewish people rejected Christ. The “EXILE”, actually began a few years earlier, and James confirms this in his book, 1:1.

Deuteronomy 28:63,64; Leviticus 26: 33; Jeremiah 16:13; Ezekiel 36: 19; Hosea 6:1,2

3. PROPHECY OF THE RESTORATION
Israel re-gathers in her homeland, and proclaims herself a nation on May 14, 1948, fulfilling in part the prophecies of Ezekiel 37, THE DRY BONES, and Matthew 24:32, THE BUDDING FIG TREE.

Hosea 6:1,2 tells us WHEN the re-gathering would occur: During the latter portion of the 20th century, during the 2nd day, (2,000 years from Christ). The re-gathering also occurs during the time of the 2nd outpouring, (Latter rain), of the Holy Spirit, which occurred in the 20th century. This "Latter Rain" began to fall on April 14, 1906 in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, in Los Angeles, California, under the leadership of William J. Seymour. With 6 months the "Outpouring" had spread around the World. The meetings that sprang from the first one would later be known as the Azuza Street Meetings. This initial revival lasted until 1915, but the "Outpouring" continues to this day! (Joel 2:23 - 3:1, Acts 2)

Isaiah 66: 7,8 tells us HOW: By a miracle birth, in one day, before her labor pains, (war), came. (May 14, 1948)

The “RESTORATION” continues even to this day:

Highlights:
THE SOLOMON EXODUS, in which 14,500 Ethiopean Jews were air-lifted to Israel in a 36 hour period beginning May 25, 1991. (Isaiah 43:6)

60,000 RUSSIAN JEWS came to Israel in 1989. (Isaiah 43:6)

200,000 JEWS world-wide, immigrate to Israel in 1990. This is the largest inflow since 1948.

1,000,000 JEWS from Eastern Europe alone, had arrived between 1990 and 1995.

4. THE PROPHECY OF THE TEN-NATION FEDERATION
Daniel 2:40-44 ---- The last World Empire will consist of 10, like-minded nations, led by the Anti-Christ. Jesus Christ will return during the reign of these 10 kings. (Daniel 2:44). The nations are called “trees”, by Jesus in Luke 21:29, and are connected to the re-birth of Israel, the “budding fig tree”.  (Matthew 24:32)

There are now 25 nations that make up the European Union. The final number will become 10 during the reign of the Anti-Christ. Both Daniel, (Daniel 7:1-3), and John, (Revelation 13:1), tell us that this Empire surrounds the Mediterranean Sea, and that this Empire is actually the revived Roman Empire. It will last for 7 years. (Daniel 9:27)

5. THE PROPHECY OF THE 2,300 DAYS
Daniel 8:14 ---- Jerusalem will be under Gentile control for 2,300 days. (These days are actually 2,300 years)

The starting point is 333 B.C., the year that Alexander the Great and his Greek army captured Jerusalem.  Daniel chapter 8 deals with the exploits of the Greek Empire. The ending point, the time that Jerusalem comes back under Israeli control, would be 2,300 years later:

2,300 - 333 = 1967

During the “Six Day War”, in Israel, June 5-10, 1967, Israel CAPTURES JERUSALEM. This is exactly 2,300 years from Alexander’s capture of Jerusalem

6. THE PROPHECY OF JERUSALEM BECOMING ISRAEL’S CAPITAL
Isaiah 28:14 --- Israel is now celebrating 3,000 years of Jerusalem being Israel’s capital. This is from the time that their greatest king, David, began to rule from there. (II Samuel 5:4,5) On July 30, 1980, the Israeli Parliament voted 69-15 to move its capital from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.

7. THE PROPHECY OF THE SCORNFUL GOVERNMENT IN JERUSALEM
Isaiah 28:14 --- On June 23, 1992, Rabin was elected Prime Minister of Israel, and thus began the “Land for Peace”, program.  This was against the God-given title to Israel of the land as found in:

GENESIS 13:14-18 & 15: 18

On March 21, 1993, Ezer Weizman was elected President of Israel. He had the same voice as did Rabin:  LAND FOR PEACE!  With Israel’s current President, Shimon Peres, and Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu (February 10, 2009), the government continues its rebellion against God. The PM's current plan is called the "Economic Peace Approach" which favors the Palestinian faction.

8. THE PROPHECY OF THE COVENANT WITH DEATH
Isaiah 28:14-18 --- This is supposed to be a peace-making covenant between Israel and her Arab neighbors. It was made on  SEPTEMBER 13, 1993, between Rabin of Israel, and Arafat of the PLO.
NOTE: ARAFAT HAS SHED MORE JEWISH BLOOD THAN ANYONE IN HISTORY APART FROM HITLER. ARAFAT WAS DEATH!!!

The covenant of September 13, 1993 will be strengthened, (confirmed), by many nations, including Israel, with the Anti-Christ for 7 years. (Daniel 9: 27) The Anti-Christ is called “Hell” in Isaiah 28: 15.

9. THE PROPHECY OF THE ROMAN – JEWISH CONSPIRACY
Revelation 1:7 --- When Jesus returns to this Earth to set up His kingdom, He will be greeted by “THOSE WHO PIERCED HIM”.  The Romans, with Jewish consent, pierced our Lord.

MATTHEW 26:1-5; 27: 1,2 LUKE 23: 1-12 JOHN 19:23-37

On December 30, 1993, the Vatican and Jerusalem opened diplomatic relations. The Vatican now has an embassy in Jerusalem. The Romans have come to town! The Romans and the Jews are together again.

10. THE PROPHECY OF A PLACE OF REFUGE FOR ISRAEL
Revelation 12:6, 14-16 / Isaiah 26:20 --- Six cities of refuge were established for Israel. Three were on the East side of the Jordan River, and three on the West. The East side of Jordan was the “Wilderness”, that Israel wandered in for 40 years. It is now called Jordan. Once bitter enemies, Israel and Jordan are now at peace with open borders between the two states. According to Daniel 11: 41, Jordan will escape the onslaught of the invading Anti-Christ forces. (MOAB, EDOM, AMMON, are the ancient occupants of modern Jordan).

Formal peace and establishment of embassies in each other’s capitals took place in 1994. More than 20 special agreements between Israel and Jordan were signed in 1995. Just for your speculation, PETRA, is located in Jordan.

11. THE PROPHECY OF THE MIDNIGHT CRY
Matthew 25:1-13 --- This is a Gentile cry, (made at midnight, the start of Gentile days, and it is a fact that the Bride of Christ will be predominantly Gentile), to wake up the sleeping Church of both the saved and unsaved. This cry was made in 1988 by a NASA scientist named Edgar Whisnut. His book, “88 REASONS WHY THE RAPTURE WILL OCCUR IN ’88" shook the believing World. The Church actually revived for a moment, and the World got “scared”. His prediction, of course, did not come to pass. However, the Church had to look seriously at the doctrine of the Second Coming. Over 250,000 people reported getting saved because of his cry. Also, the doctrine of the Rapture was made real for the first time in ages.

12. THE PROPHECY OF POTENTIAL WORLD DESTRUCTION
Matthew 24:21,22 --- Jesus could not return in the Rapture until a time would come to Man in which he could be able to destroy Himself. Not until the development of the Atomic Bomb was Man able to destroy all life on our planet.   NOW WE CAN !!!

13. THE PROPHECY OF THE 120 YEARS
Genesis 6:2 / Matthew 24:37 --- God gave the generation of Noah 120 years to prepare for their end. (The end of all flesh was Before God). Noah’s Day will repeat itself. All of the End-Time signs pointing to the Rapture “HAVE” been fulfilled since the latter 1800’s, and during this past century. Mankind is at the end of his 120 YEARS.
